High-level Closing of Global Climate Action


The high-level closing event of Global Climate Action will bring to a close the high-level event by highlighting the previous 5 days of activities focussed on climate action and pre-2020 ambition.

At the event, the Yearbook of Global Climate Action 2017 by the Climate Champions will be presented, providing an annual overview of action in the seven thematic areas, the achievements made under the Marrakech Partnership, and highlights progress in the run-up to the Talanoa Dialogue.

This event will include the António Guterres, UN Secretary-General; Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary, UNFCCC; Inia Seruiratu, Climate Champion & Fijian Minister for Agriculture and the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management and Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco and President of COP 22, as well as a moderated panel discussion including:
